Newborn Photographer | Hemel Hempstead
I can’t thank you all enough for asking me to photograph your Newborn, it’s honestly such a rewarding feeling and being able to capture those first moments for you to remember forever, is so special to me. So thank you.
There are so many amazing Photographers to choose from and I can imagine it’s pretty overwhelming trying to pick, unless recommended by a friend or family member (which usually makes it a lot easier). I thought I’d write a little blog post about what I do, what I offer and a few examples of my work to hopefully make your choices a bit more easier when finding a Newborn Photographer!
So, what is my work all about?
I am obsessed with keeping things simple and having total focus on what’s most important, your baby. I just love the complete natural vibe in my photos. Snapping away and just allowing your baby to lead the whole session. Capturing every stretch, every yawn and the way they look around the room is just perfect. I just photographing your baby exactly how they are. I like to keep things white where’s possible, I feel it keeps your photographs timeless and no distractions from bright colours, heavy pattens or lots of props.
What do you offer?
I offer a few packages which will suit a Newborn shoot. My Medium and Large packages are one off sessions, they’re both an hour long which is the perfect amount of time to photograph your Newborn. There is never any rush during my sessions, but I believe an hour is long enough for everyone! My other package is targeted at your little ones first year and this is also my most popular package with Newborn clients, this is called the My First Year Package. The package is 3 sessions over the course of your little ones first year. Newborn, 6 months and a yummy Cake Smash on/around your first birthday. To look more into the packages, please click here.
Shall I bring anything for my session?
All you need to bring for your session is your baby (and your supply bag of course) but I have everything. I have little white baby grows in all different sizes, nappy covers, wooden toys, blankets and a big bean bag to ensure your baby is as cosy as possible. You’re welcome to bring some outfits if you so wish, but please try to keep them white, very pale grey or very simple to ensure the best results from me. Please bring any toys, music or anything you feel settles your baby. There is always times during the session if you need to feed, there is absolutely no rush and I totally understand! A fed baby is a happy baby!
When should I book?
As soon as possible! If you have picked me as your Newborn photographer (thank you thank you!) then please get in touch as soon as possible. I like to photograph newborns within the first 21 days so to ensure a date in the diary, please get in touch. If you have only just found me and you’ve had your baby (congrats!) then please still do get in touch, I tend to always be able to fit everyone in somewhere! I do require a non refundable deposit to secure your session and the rest of the payment will then be due on the day of your session in cash or card.
I really hope this little blog post helped you and gave you some more information about my newborn photography! I am so grateful and honestly have the best job in the world. As always, if you have any questions then please feel free to send me a message.
Abbie xx
